ITC Launches Its New 'Investigations Database System' Search Tool

A major new feature is providing the ability to conduct searches of the centralized investigation database that generate in-depth results across multiple practice areas, the ITC said Jan. 12 in an announcement. IDS has the potential to provide "new perspectives and value-added insights for users," and will integrate with the ITC's existing Electronic Document Information System (EDIS) to share core investigation data.

Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.

Key functionalities of the new system include the ability to access investigation information in all practice areas, including investigative staff, hearing witnesses, news releases, and other data. For antidumping and countervailing duty injury investigations specifically, features include centralized data across different phases of investigations, with new fields identifying associated ligation information for specific products; links to external related information; information for individual respondents; and an integrated ability to see information on individual AD/CVD investigations.
