Argentina initiated AD investigations on certain bicycles and “warp knitted” synthetic fiber fabrics from mainland China, HKTDC said. The investigations “must normally” be completed within 10 months, but the timeline may be extended in “special circumstances.”

Brazil amended its AD order on certain mainland Chinese PET film from 65 cents per kilogram to $654.95 per tonne, HKTDC said. The report said the “measure remains suspended due to the existence of doubts regarding the likely future evolution of such imports.”

Canada began a sunset review of AD and CVD orders on certain Chinese stainless steel sinks and will determine by Oct. 4 “whether the continued or resumed dumping or subsidization is likely to result in injury or retardation.” The country also issued the results of an administrative review of AD measures on certain Chinese “upholstered domestic seating” and issued results of an AD and CVD “re‑investigation of the normal values, export prices and amounts of subsidy applicable” to certain Chinese oil country tubular goods, HKTDC said.
