State Dept. Approves Military Sales to Australia, Finland

The State Department approved two potential military sales, to Australia and Finland, worth more than $6.8 billion combined, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Nov. 1.

The agency approved a $6.35 billion sale to Australia for “C-130J-30 aircraft” and related equipment. The principal contractor will be Lockheed Martin.

DSCA also approved a $535 million sale to Finland for “Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System” Alternative Warhead and related equipment. The principal contractor will be Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.
