India Stainless Steel Flanges: Prelim Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department on Nov. 3 released the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on stainless steel flanges from India (A-533-877). In the final results of this review, Commerce will set assessment rates for subject merchandise for the companies under review entered Oct. 1, 2020, through Sept. 30, 2021.

Commerce has ordered liquidation “as entered” at the cash deposit rate in effect at the time of entry for subject merchandise from exporters for which a review was not requested (ADCVDWeb Message # 2004413)

In these preliminary results, Commerce is also rescinding this review for 14 companies (see Appendix II of the notice for a complete list). Entries from these companies will also liquidate as entered.

Cash Deposit Requirements

Once Commerce issues its final results, new AD duty cash deposit requirements may take effect for some companies, beginning on the date of publication of the final results in the Federal Register. Commerce preliminarily calculated the following AD duty cash deposit rates:

No shipments. Commerce preliminarily determined Emerson Process Management (Emerson) and Echjay Forgings Private Limited (Echjay) had no shipments during the period of review.

Assessment Rates

As part of this administrative review, Commerce will also calculate the AD duties it will assess on importers for entries of subject merchandise entered Oct. 1, 2020, through Sept. 30, 2021. If these preliminary results are confirmed in the final results, Commerce will calculate importer-specific rates for Chandan and Good Luck, and importers of subject merchandise exported by the 22 other companies under review will be assessed AD duties at the rates listed in the final results.
