Brazil issued a final determination that certain technical porcelain tiles that were reported as originating from Hong Kong will instead be deemed as originating in mainland China, HKTDC said. The country also began a sunset review of its AD order on certain Chinese citric acid and citrate salts, which has been in place since July 2012 and imposes a duty of “$803.61 or $823.04 per tonne on subject merchandise.”

Canada issued a final determination to assess AD and CVD at importer-specific rates on subject merchandise from a range of Chinese companies, including those in the technology, healthcare and furniture sectors. Canada also began a “re-investigation to update the normal values and export prices” for certain Chinese oil country tubular goods and certain seamless casing in “response to a dramatic increase in imports,” HKTDC said. Canada also issued the results of an AD/CVD review to “establish the normal values, export prices and amounts of subsidy” related to certain Chinese seamless casing exported to Canada by JingJiang Special Steel Co. Ltd. “The amount of subsidy determined for future shipments is 136.68 RMB per metric tonne,” HKTDC said.
