Oman PET Film: Prelim Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department has released the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on polyethylene terephthalate film, sheet and strip from Oman (A-523-813), calculating a 4.16% AD rate for lone respondent OCTAL SAOC-FZC. If the agency's finding is continued in the final results, importers of subject merchandise from OCTAL entered between March 3, 2020, and Aug. 31, 2021, will be assessed AD duties at importer-specific rates. Any changes to cash deposit rates for OCTAL would take effect upon publication of the final results of this review in the Federal Register.

Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.

Only the one exporter for which an administrative review was requested is covered by this review. Cash deposit rates for all other exporters will not change as a result of this review. Commerce has ordered liquidation “as entered” for entries during the period of review from all exporters not under review (ADCVDWeb Messages # 1348411).

(The period of review is 03/03/20 - 08/31/21. See the notice for additional information, including the scope of the order, potential cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc.)
