Once a call or text exchange is initiated, an ADT agent monitors an ongoing trip, stays in contact throughout the trip, and calls 911 on the user’s behalf with trip details, such as the vehicle’s make, model, license plate number and GPS location, they said. No fee or subscription is required to use the Safety Toolkit, an ADT spokesperson emailed.
