Verizon Wireless ranked highest in five regions evaluated in the study, with the fewest network quality problems per 100 connections in call, messaging and data quality in the Mid-Atlantic, North Central, Northeast, Southeast and West regions. AT&T ranked highest or was tied in the three ratings in the Southwest.
