N.H. Company Charged With Illegally Shipping Equipment to Ukraine, Russia
New Hampshire-based company Intertech Trading Corp. violated the law when it failed to file export information for equipment it sent to Russia and Ukraine, the U.S. alleged in a filing at the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire.The parts, which included laser assemblies, were "falsely described" as aquarium and multimedia parts and valued at lower amounts than their actual worth, DOJ said.

The parts were shipped to Ukraine and Russia from 2016 to 2019, before Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine. The charges resulted from an investigation of the company, first reported by the Daily Beast . The investigation alleged that Intertech was shipping lab equipment to Russia's weapons of mass destruction programs. The search warrant in that case said that around 414 shipments valued at $60 million were sent to the Moscow-based Intertech Instruments with four shipments going to the FSB, Russia's intelligence service.
The charges in the New Hampshire district court concern only 14 shipments, which the U.S. claims are valued at over $77,000 but that the company only reported being worth $1,418.
