Italy ESB Rubber: Commerce Terminates Antidumping Investigation
The Commerce Department terminated the antidumping investigation on imports of emulsion styrene butadiene rubber from Italy (A-475-844), after the petitioner, Lion Elastomers LLC, withdrew its antidumping duty petition.

Commerce had preliminarily determined weighted-average dumping margins for exporters of ESBR from Italy that were above de minimis (see 2204280023). Because the investigation is being terminated, Commerce said it will instruct CBP to terminate suspension of liquidation and refund any cash deposits of estimated antidumping duties for entries of ESB rubber from Italy, effective May 11.
Parallel investigations on ESB rubber from the Czech Republic and Russia continue, with no suspension of liquidation or cash deposit requirements yet in effect. Preliminary determinations in those investigations are due June 14 (see 2203300044).
