Mexico Residential Washers: Final Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on large residential washers from Mexico (A-201-842). Commerce calculated an AD rate of zero percent for the only company under review, Electrolux Home Products Corp. NV, and its affiliate Electrolux Home Products de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. because Commerce determined that subject goods from Mexico were not sold in the United States at less than normal value during the period of review Feb. 1, 2019, through Jan. 31, 2020.

Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.
The zero percent importer-specific AD duty cash deposit rate for Electrolux takes effect May 4, the date these final results are to be published in the Federal Register.
For any other exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all exporters of subject merchandise except Electrolux), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. If the exporter has never been assigned its own AD rate but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all-others rate of 36.52% applies.
(The review period is 02/01/20 - 01/31/21. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 2202230035 for the preliminary results of this review.)
