South Korea Corrosion-Resistant Steel: Final Results of CV Admin Review
The Commerce Department issued the final results of its countervailing duty administrative review on corrosion resistant steel from South Korea (C-580-879). These final results will be used to set final assessments of CV duties on importers for subject merchandise entered Jan. 1, 2019, through Dec. 31, 2019.

New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Jan. 19
New CV duty cash deposit rates for the producers and exporters subject to his review take effect Jan. 19, the date these final results are to be published in the Federal Register. The new rates, which will also apply for importer assessment purposes, are as follows:

Average Rate. Commerce isn't individually investigating 35 companies subject to this review and instead assigned them an average of the rates assigned to the only individually investigated companies. See Appendix II of Commerce's notice for a full list of these 35 companies.
In these final results, Commerce noted it inadvertently included Dongkuk as a respondent company in this administrative review. Accordingly, Commerce is ending the review with respect to Dongkuk.
Companies that didn't get a rate in this review will keep their most recently assigned cash deposit rate. If the exporter has never been assigned its own CV rate, but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all-others rate applies.
