Samsung Thursday. Samsung will build the new standard into its 2022 gaming monitors and Neo QLED TV lineup in the Q70 TV series and above, it said. The new standard “gives game developers the tools they need to provide gamers with a compelling and consistent HDR gaming experience without the need for manual calibration across a variety of display technologies for various input sources, including consoles, PCs and more,” said Samsung. The standard enables the game engine built into displays and monitors to automatically optimize game content in real time, it said.
