BIS Seeking Comments on ICT Supply Chain Information

BIS said it’s specifically looking for supply chain information on “hardware that enables terrestrial distribution, broadcast/wireless transport, satellite support, data storage,” mobile devices and more. It’s also interested in certain “critical” software and services that enable the software and hardware, including the “resilience and capacity” of American manufacturing supply chains. BIS also listed several other areas of importance, asking commenters for “specific policy recommendations” for the administration to implement to ensure a “resilient supply chain for the ICT industrial base.” Comments are due Nov. 4.
