Seamless Pipe: Prelim AD Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect for Czech Republic
The Commerce Department made an affirmative antidumping preliminary determination that imports of seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe from the Czech Republic (A-851-804) are being sold in the U.S. at less than fair value. The agency will impose AD duty cash requirements on entries of subject merchandise beginning on Dec. 21, the date that its preliminary determination is set to be published in the Federal Register.

Commerce is also conducting AD duty investigations on seamless pipe from South Korea, Russia and Ukraine, with its preliminary determinations in those investigations due Feb. 3 (see 2011180021). The agency already set countervailing duty suspension of liquidation and cash deposit requirements for seamless pipe from South Korea and Russia in a preliminary determination issued Dec. 11 (see 2012100053).
​AD Suspension of Liquidation and Cash Deposit Requirements
Commerce will instruct CBP to suspend liquidation for AD duty purposes for all entries of subject merchandise that are entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after Dec. 21, and require AD duty cash deposits as follows:
