Canada is also the country of origin for a satellite device used with the vehicle tracking system because that is where the printed circuit board assemblies “were populated with various components,” CBP said. For NFC fobs made in Taiwan, CBP said the country of origin “will be the country where the NFC chip is produced,” which is usually either Taiwan or Singapore.
