  • CBSA closes record for copper pipe fittings normal value and export review, updates schedule. The Canada Border Services Agency advised it closed on Sept. 4 the record of the normal value and export price review of certain copper pipe fittings exported to Canada from the United States by Nacobre USA LLC. The review is part of CBSA’s enforcement of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal’s original finding of material injury issued Feb. 19, 2007, continued without amendment Feb. 17, 2012, and again with amendment on Nov. 28, 2016, with respect to the dumping of certain copper pipe fittings from the United States, South Korea and China, in accordance with the Special Import Measures Act. The information about the updated schedule for the normal value review was also posted.
  • Product Recalls: Elho BV Greenville plant hangers manufactured in the Netherlands recalled, for fall hazard; Arena Swim Snorkel Pro II and Swim Snorkel II manufactured in China recalled, due to choking hazard.
