The government of Canada issued the following trade-related notices as of June 3 (note that some may also be given separate headlines):

- CITT initiates review of hot-rolled carbon steel plate. The Canadian International Trade Tribunal on June 1 initiated a review of its finding on May 20, 2014, in Inquiry NQ-2013-005, that the dumping of certain hot-rolled carbon steel plate originating in or exported from Brazil, Denmark, Indonesia, Italy, Japan and South Korea was threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry. In addition, the Canada Border Services Agency will review its decision under the Special Import Measures Act with respect to individual exporters with de minimis margins of dumping, i.e. steel plate exported by Hyundai Steel Company. CITT will make a decision on Oct. 14, 2020, to reaffirm the threat of injury finding or replace it with a negative finding.
- Administration of Temporary Importation (Tariff Item No. 9993.00.00) Regulations. The Canada Border Services Agency on June 1 updated the contact information in the March 31, 2016, version of Memorandum D8-1-1, which outlines the conditions under which goods may qualify for duty-free entry under tariff item No. 9993.00.00 of the Schedule to the Customs Tariff. It also identifies those circumstances when temporarily imported goods are entitled to full or partial relief of the goods and services tax/harmonized sales tax (GST/HST).
