- Statement of reasons on certain carbon steel fasteners. The Canada Border Services Agency on April 9 released its Statement of Reasons for its March 26, 2020, determination that the expiration of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal’s order made on January 5, 2015, in Expiry Review No. RR‑2014‑001, is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping of certain carbon steel fasteners originating in or exported from China and Taiwan, and is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of subsidizing of certain carbon steel fasteners originating in or exported from China.
- Statement of reasons on certain sucker rods. The Canada Border Services Agency as of April 3 has accepted the price undertakings, suspended the investigation and suspended the collection of provisional duties, with respect to the alleged injurious dumping into Canada of certain sucker rods originating in or exported from Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico.
- Product Recalls: CHEM-TECH XP Pump System manufactured in the United States recalled, for chemical hazard related to the timer; Bugaboo Soft Wool Blanket and Wool Seal Liner manufactured in China recalled, for chemical hazard in the product label; Bellman & Symfon Flash Receiver manufactured in China recalled, for potential failure of battery to operate in power outage situation.
