  • CBSA initiates normal value review for certain concrete reinforcing bar. The Canada Border Services Agency on Feb. 25 initiated a normal value review to update the normal values and export prices applicable to certain concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) exported to Canada from Spain by Nervacero, S.A. If the exporter does not provide a complete response to the request for information by April 2, 2020, any previous normal values issued to the exporter will be immediately revoked and normal values applicable to subject goods exported by Nervacero will be determined by advancing the export price of the goods by 108.5%, pursuant to a ministerial specification.
  • NAFTA textile/apparel TPL utilization. Global Affairs Canada updated the 2020 NAFTA textile and apparel tariff preference level utilization rate for imports and exports.
  • Product Recalls: Step2 Little Helpers Shopping Cart manufactured in the United States recalled, for injury hazard; LENNOX ductless single-zone and multi-zone heat pumps manufactured in China recalled, for fire hazard; Wedze snowboard bindings manufactured in Taiwan recalled, for fall hazard.
