  • Excise duty procedures for cannabis: edibles, extracts and topicals. The Canada Border Services Agency on Dec. 11 issued Customs Notice 19-24, which advises importers on the calculation of the amounts of excise duty and any additional duty to be imposed on edible cannabis, cannabis extracts or cannabis topical products (see 1912110069).
  • Product Recalls: Yamaha EF2000iS Portable Generator manufactured in Japan recalled, for fire hazard; MR. STEAK four-burner and fiver-burner gas grills manufactured in China recalled, for fire hazard.
