- CBSA issues notice of investigation into certain sucker rods. The Canada Border Services Agency on Sept. 30 initiated a dumping investigation under the Special Import Measures Act with respect to certain sucker rods (8413.91.00.10) from Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. A complaint filed by Apergy Canada ULC -- Alberta Oil Tool Division prompted the complaint. CBSA will issue a Statement of Reasons within 15 days of the initiation of the investigation.
- Product Recalls: MATVRA children’s bib, Blue/Red 2-pack manufactured in Sweden recalled, for choking hazard posed by button that may detach; Red Mountain Valley camp stoves manufactured in China recalled, for defect allowing propane fuel to leak, posing a fire hazard.
