OFAC designated Cyprus-based Caroil Transport Marine Ltd. for operating three tankers -- Carlota C, Sandino and Petion -- for transferring oil between Cuba and Venezuela. Treasury also sanctioned Panama-based Trocana World Inc., Tovase Development Corp and Bluelane Overseas SA for owning the ships Petion, Sandino and Girlat, respectively.

The agency also removed two entities, two ships and an aircraft from its Specially Designated Nationals List “in recognition of a demonstrated change in behavior.” OFAC delisted Liberia-based Serenity Maritime Limited and Lima Shipping Corporation as well as the vessels Leon Dias, New Hellas and the aircraft N133JA.
