  • CBSA Statement of Reasons on certain hollow structural sections from Turkey, South Korea The Canada Border Services Agency on May 24 issued its Statement of Reasons concerning its expiry review determination with respect to certain hollow structural sections originating in or exported from South Korea and Turkey. CBSA had determined on May 9 that the expiry (see 1905100001) of the order from Dec. 20, 2013, in Expiry Review No. RR-2013-001, is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping of certain hollow structural sections from those countries.
  • CBSA expiry review on certain hot-rolled carbon steel plate finds dumping likely to continue. The Canada Border Services Agency has concluded its investigation of the expiry review for certain hot-rolled carbon steel plate originating in or exported from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Romania. Its review found that discontinuing the current restrictions likely will result in the continuation or resumption of dumping. A Statement of Reasons will be issued within 15 days of the May 24 determination.
  • Product Recalls: HEMNES Bookcases & Glass Cabinets manufactured in Poland recalled, for injury hazard posed by risk of falling shelves; Bodum CHAMBORD Stove Top Espresso Maker manufactured in China recalled, for fire and burn hazards.
