The government of Canada recently issued the following trade-related notices as of April 12 (note that some may also be given separate headlines):

- NAFTA textile/apparel TPL utilization. The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade updated the 2019 NAFTA textile and apparel tariff preference level utilization rate for imports and exports.
- Product Recalls: Honda Portable Generators manufactured in Thailand are recalled, for fire and burn hazards; “I’m Sleeping In” bathrobes manufactured in China are recalled, for not meeting flammability requirements for children's sleepwear; Stelpro Design and Uniwatt construction heaters manufactured in Canada are recalled due to fire hazard; Chromalox, Centurion, Electromode, Westcan and Dimplex construction heaters manufactured in Canada and China are recalled, for fire hazard.
