of entry, the agency said in the FAQs. "The CBMA flag is an indication that a CBMA claim may be filed," it said. "The flag, itself, is not the claim. CBP will issue additional procedures and requirements in early October on the information to be filed to complete a CBMA claim. Upon issuance of the October procedures and requirements, importers will be encouraged to file the claim documentation simultaneously with the transmission of the entry summary flag." CBP will issue separate procedures "addressing the CBMA‘s temporary changes to the tax classification of certain wines containing more than 14% but not more than 16% alcohol by volume," it said. The Excel spreadsheets required as part of a CBMA claim can be submitted through the Document Image System, it said. CBP issued a final rule in August on the CBMA (see 1808150030) and a CSMS message with instructions for CBMA claims (see 1809040037). The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau also has released a set of FAQs.
