AudioControl expanded its 70-volt 750-watt-per-channel CM line of amplifiers, which enables integrators to connect “a large number of speakers” to each output for use in large residential, outdoor and commercial installations, said the company. CM amplifiers have digital signal processing control and signal matrixing capabilities allowing integrators to tailor sound in a zone to different environments.

AudioControl is also bowing at CEDIA the Avalon G3, which can drive height channels in an immersive sound system, bridge to a 2.1 audio system or feed 600 watts to a pair of 8-ohm loudspeakers, said the company. The Rialto 400 has a smart-switching auxiliary input capable of overriding digital and analog inputs when it senses a signal, said the company, enabling a user to query using Amazon Echo or Google Assistant voice commands and rely on the Rialto 400 to pause the input, provide the response from either voice engine and immediately switch back to whichever input was active, said the company.

In a ground-up redesign, Savant revamped its IP audio music server so end-users can now get their local content or music streaming services in a multiroom entertainment system, said the company. The server’s Savant Music 2.0 software has redesigned app control screens for simpler navigation, it said. A new equalizer screen makes it simpler to fine-tune sound on supported devices, said the company, and users will have access to streaming services including Spotify, Pandora, TuneIn and Tidal.

In its Artison line, Savant is showing 40- and 80-watt powered speakers that use a board to create sound. The sound surface design generates soundwaves originating from multiple locations on the board, generating what the company said is a broad frequency range with small fluctuations in amplitude. The speakers require less amplifier power than traditional speakers and can be “sheet rock mudded” into a wall, outdoors or behind material including stucco or decorative wallpaper, said the company.

Savant is giving integrators access to AudioControl’s Director D-Series DSP-enabled D2800 and D4600 amplifiers through the Savant store. AudioControl Director D-Series amps offer DSP profiles for Savant’s Artison speakers. Through the integration, installers can configure graphic and parametric equalization, crossover settings, volume control, zone grouping and network monitoring via IP, said the company.

Dynaudio Music is making its U.S. debut at CEDIA Expo. The intelligent, wireless all-in-one multiroom music system is said to adapt to users’ tastes, home and lifestyle. The product launched in Europe earlier this year.

Dynaudio also will show its expanded Confidence loudspeaker line based on soft-dome tweeters, magnesium silicate polymer cones and Dynaudio Directivity Control (DDC) for two models. The four new models in the range are the Confidence 20 two-way stand-mounting speaker, model 30 three-way floor-standing speaker with DDC on board, model 50 three-way floor-standing speaker with DDC and model 60 “extra-large” three-way floor-standing speaker. The company will also demo its Studio Series in-wall speakers for left, center and right positioning in a home theater setting, it said.

Access Networks will show at CEDIA Expo new wireless access points and a wireless controller powered by Ruckus, plus preconfigured Core Systems solutions optimized for Crestron NVX deployments, said the company. Through the integration, Access Networks’ Core custom-programmed networking is certified to work with Crestron’s AV-over-IP encoders/decoders to provide high bandwidth and low latency in video distribution systems, it said.

At the show, Access Networks is expected to announce details of new integration and enhanced partnerships in the AV and IT industries, it said.
