Republican Sens. Ted Cruz and John Cornyn, viewed as one of the last major hurdles for the Music Modernization Act, Grassley told us: “I think we can accommodate it, but I have not seen the language yet.” Grassley said he met recently with lawmakers to discuss the bill: “The idea is to get a vote on it, and to work out some changes that we can get the bill so that the House can pass it.” A vote hasn't been scheduled in the upper chamber, he said.
