TV in the next six months, down from 12.5 percent in May, 13.1 percent in April and 14 percent in June 2017, said the board. Overall consumer confidence declined in June after increasing in May, though consumers’ “assessment of present-day conditions was relatively unchanged, suggesting that the level of economic growth remains strong,” it said. “While expectations remain high by historical standards, the modest curtailment in optimism suggests that consumers do not foresee the economy gaining much momentum in the months ahead.”
