for "rejecting entry summaries subject to import measures under Sections 201 and 301 of the Trade Act of 1974, and Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962," CBP said. A proposed new 25 percent tariff on imports from China would likely affect pharmaceuticals, medical devices and optical equipment, according to a list of proposed tariff subheadings released by the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. A rejection of an entry summary "will unset the liquidation date and transmit the entry summary back to the filer for action," CBP said.
