CBP Reduces After-Hours Processing of Urgent Entries at LAX

The Los Angeles International Airport Cargo Counter will allow one "urgent" entry per filer, down from five, after business hours starting Feb. 27, CBP said in a Feb. 23 notice. The change will be in place "until further notice," it said. "Urgent shipments," as previously defined by the port, "will be limited to one entry, (formal and informal including corrections), per filer each night," it said. Requests for additional entries will be considered on a case-by-case basis, it said.
