  • CBSA to conduct investigations on certain silicon metal. The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has initiated investigations into the alleged dumping of certain silicon metal originating in or exported from Brazil, Kazakhstan, Laos, Malaysia, Norway, Russia and Thailand, and the alleged injurious subsidizing of certain silicon metal originating in or exported from Brazil, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Norway and Thailand (here).
  • NAFTA textile/apparel TPL utilization. The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade updated the 2017 NAFTA textile and apparel tariff preference level utilization rate for imports (here) and exports (here).
  • Product Recalls: The Honest Company voluntarily recalls Honest Organic Baby Powder manufactured in the U.S. (here), for health hazard; SodaStream Canada Ltd. recalls 1 liter blue-tinted "Dishwasher Safe" Carbonating Bottles manufactured in Israel (here), for injury hazard; CLS Sales Inc. recalls light-up rubber ducks manufactured in China (here), for choking hazard.
