The proposed mark “consists of the word ‘VR’ in stylized font with the right side of the ‘V’ and the left side of the ‘R’ being composed of a single line," says the PTO application. The agency assigned the application “VIRTUAL REALITY” as a “pseudo mark” as a standard practice to aid examiners in searching the PTO database for conflicting marks, PTO said in a Friday notice.
