They said the larger NTIA multistakeholder group may reach consensus on the draft (see 1604280066). But Ryan Hagemann, the Niskanen Center's technology and civil liberties policy analyst, said his organization didn't support the draft because it doesn't "properly account for potential innovative uses of drones" and could potentially result in some negative unintended consequences for startups (see 1605030031).
