China Transfer Drive Components: Prelim CV Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect
Countervailing duty cash deposit requirements take effect April 11 for imports of iron mechanical transfer drive components from China (C-570-031), after the Commerce Department found illegal subsidization in its preliminary determination (here).

The merchandise subject to this investigation is also the subject of an antidumping duty investigation. The preliminary AD duty determination on iron mechanical transfer drive components from China is currently due May 31 (see 1603090027).
CV Suspension of Liquidation and Cash Deposit Requirements
Commerce will instruct CBP to suspend liquidation for all entries of subject merchandise that are entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after April 11. It will require CV duty cash deposits at the following rates:
