South Korea Washing Machines: Prelim Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department issued the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on large residential washers from South Korea (A-580-868) (here). The agency calculated an AD rate of 1.64% for the only company under review, LG Electronics, Inc. Any changes to the cash deposit rates for LG would take effect on the publication date of the final results of this review, currently due in July. In the final results, Commerce will calculate importer-specific assessments of AD duties for subject merchandise from LG entered Feb. 1, 2014 through Jan. 31, 2014.

Commerce has ordered liquidation at "as entered" rates for subject merchandise entered Feb. 1, 2014 through Jan. 31, 2014 that was exported by companies that are not under review (i.e., all except LG) (here) and (here).
