Mexico Washing Machines: Prelim Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department issued the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on large residential washers from Mexico (A-201-842) (here). The agency assigned the single entity under review, Electrolux Home Products Corp. N.V. and its affiliate Electrolux Home Products de Mexico, S.A. de C.V., an AD rate of 2.47%. Any changes to cash deposit rates for Electrolux would take effect on the publication date of the final results of this review, currently due in July. In its final results, Commerce will set assessments of AD duties for subject merchandise exported by Electrolux and its affiliates with a time of entry between Feb. 1, 2014 and Jan. 31, 2014.

Commerce has ordered liquidation at "as entered" rates for subject merchandise entered Feb. 1, 2014 through Jan. 31, 2014 that was exported by companies that are not under review (i.e., all except Electrolux) (here) and (here).
