Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.
Only the 223 companies for which a review was requested are covered by this review. Commerce has ordered liquidation "as entered" at the cash deposit rate in effect at time of entry for subject merchandise from exporters for which a review was not requested (here).
Cash Deposit Requirements
Once Commerce issues its final results, new AD duty cash deposit requirements may take effect for some companies, beginning on the date of publication of the final results in the Federal Register. Commerce preliminarily calculated the following AD duty cash deposit rates:
| Exporter | AD Rate (Prelim) |
|---|---|
| Falcon Marine Exports Limited / K.R. Enterprises | 0.8% |
| The Liberty Group | 8.32% |
| Average rate for 202 companies | 4.98% |
(See Commerce's notice for the full list of 202 companies that were preliminarily assigned new AD rates but were not under individual review.)
No Shipments. Commerce found 19 companies had no shipments to the U.S. durig the period under review. If Commerce continues this finding in its final results, cash deposit requirements for these companies will not change as a result of this review. See Commerce's notice for a full list.
Assessment Rates
As part of this administrative review, Commerce will also calculate the AD duties it will assess on importers for entries of subject merchandise entered between Feb. 1, 2014 and Jan. 31, 2015. If these preliminary results are confirmed in the final results, importers of subject merchandise exported by Falcon Marine and The Liberty Group will be assessed AD duties at importer-specific rates. Importers of subject merchandise exported by the 202 average rate companies will be assessed AD duties at the rates set in the final results. For the 19 companies that Commerce preliminary determined had no shipments during the period of review, any entries listing their case number would be liquidated at the all others rate.
(The period of review is 02/01/14 -- 01/31/15. See notice for additional information, including the scope of the order, potential cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc.)
