- Canadian manufacturer appeals Tribunal decision on steel plate from India and Russia. Essar Steel Algoma a Canadian manufacturer has announced that it is appealing the decision by the CITT over its recent ruling on the dumping of steel plate originating in or exported from India and Russia to the Federal Court of Appeal. - Canadian rail freight down by 5.4%. Statistics Canada announced that rail freight has dropped 5.4% in December after a 2.2% growth in November. (here)
