Microsoft plans a hard opening of the New York store at noon Oct. 26, but wants shoppers to begin lining up at 6 that morning in advance of grand opening ceremonies that begin at 11:30 a.m., the company said in a “Look out, New York!” announcement posted online Wednesday.
