Vietnam Wind Towers: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on utility scale wind towers from Vietnam (A-552-814) (here). Commerce determined the only companies under review, CS Wind Vietnam and its affiliate CS Wind Corporation, did not undersell subject merchandise during the period of review, assigning them a zero percent AD duty rate. Subject merchandise from CS Wind entered between Feb. 13, 2013 and Jan. 31, 2014 will be liquidated without any assessment of AD duties, and future entries of subject merchandise exported by CS Wind will not be subject to AD duty cash deposit requirements until further notice. These final results take effect Sept. 15.

For exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all except CS Wind), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. For companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the Vietnam-wide rate of 58.54% applies.

(The review period is 07/01/13 -- 06/30/14. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 1503060011 for summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
