  • Canada-Israel trade mission. The Minister of International Trade Ed Fast has announced Canada will lead a trade mission to Israel from July 21 to July 24 to discuss how businesses can take advantage of economic opportunities in the Middle East. (here)
  • Canada’s international investments. Statistics Canada has announced that Canada’s net international investment position increased by $87.2 billion in the first quarter to a record $224.3 billion. (here)
  • Tariff classification of woven chenille fabrics. The CBSA has issued Memorandum D10-17-40 which outlines and explains the agency’s administrative policy regarding the classification of woven chenille fabrics of two or more textile yarn materials. (here)
  • Hot-rolled carbon steel plate. The CITT has initiated a preliminary injury inquiry into the dumping and subsidizing of hot-rolled carbon steel plate originating in or exported from India and Russia. (here)
  • Powdered whey TRQ deadline. The DFAIT has announced that the deadline for the allocation for powdered whey TRQ for the period August 1, 2015 to July 31, 2016 is July 15, 2015. (here)
  • Specialty cream TRQ deadline. The DFAIT has announced that the deadline for the allocation for specialty cream TRQ for the period August 1, 2015 to July 31, 2016 is July 15, 2015. (here)
