Rates Only Preliminary; Cash Deposit Rates From Previous Proceedings Still in Effect
These AD duty rates are only preliminary, and do not change current AD duty rates. For now, the most recent final AD rate calculated for each exporter is still applicable. If no final AD duty rate has ever been calculated for a company, then it is subject to the all others rate of 14.74%. The final results of this administrative review are currently due in October.
Cash Deposit Requirements
Once Commerce issues its final results, new AD duty cash deposit requirements may take effect for some companies, beginning on the date of publication of the final results in the Federal Register.
| Producer/Exporter | AD Rate |
|---|---|
| Borusan Istikbal Ticaret T.A.S., and Borusan Mannesmann Boru Sanayi ve Ticaret | 3.16% |
| Toscelik Profil ve Sac Endustrisi A.S. and Tosyali Dis Ticaret A.S. | 1.77% |
No shipments. Commerce preliminarily found that ERBOSAN Erciyas Boru Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. did not have any shipments of subject merchandise to the U.S. during the period of review. If Commerce continues this finding in the final results, subject from ERBOSAN will continue to enter at cash deposit rates set in the most recent previous administrative review of the company.
Assessment Rates
Commerce will use these rates to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers for entries between April 1, 2013 and May 31, 2014 from the companies under review. The agency intends to calculate importer-specific assessment rates for Borusan and Toscelik.
(The period of review is 02/01/13 -- 01/31/14. See notice for additional information, including the scope of the order, potential cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc.)
