Rates Only Preliminary; Cash Deposit Rates From Previous Proceedings Still in Effect

These CV rates are only preliminary, and do not change current cash deposit requirements. For now, the most recent final CV duty cash deposit rate calculated for each exporter is still applicable. If no final CV duty cash deposit rate has ever been calculated for a company, then it is subject to the all others rate. The final results of this administrative review are currently due in September.

Cash Deposit Requirements

Once Commerce issues its final results, new CV duty cash deposit requirements may take effect for some companies, beginning on the date of publication of the final results in the Federal Register.

CompanyCV Rate
Guangdong Dongyuan Kitchenware Industrial Co., Ltd.9.83%*

*This rate would only apply for future cash deposit requirements and for assessment purposes for entries in 2013. Commerce also calculated a CV duty rate of 3.91% for entries in 2012 that will be used for assessment purposes only.

Assessment Rates

When Commerce issues its final results, it will use them to set assessments of CV duties on importers of subject merchandise entered between Aug. 6, 2012 and Dec. 31, 2013. Commerce will use the rates listed above for entries from Guangdong Dongyuan. For Shunde Native Produce Import and Export Co., Ltd. of Guangdong, which Commerce found to have no shipments to the U.S., any entries during the period for review will be subject to the China-wide rate. Entries from all other companies will be liquidated "as is" at the cash deposit rate in effect at time of entry.

(The period of review is 08/06/12 -- 12/31/13. See notice for additional information, including the scope of the order, potential cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc.)
