CBP Seeks New Members for Port Inspection User Fee Advisory Committee
CBP is soliciting applications to sit on its 20-member Airport and Seaport Inspections User Fee Advisory Committee, it said in a notice (here). The committee advises CBP on matters related to the performance of airport and seaport inspections coinciding with the assessment of an agriculture, customs, or immigration user fee, said the notice. Members will be selected to “represent the point of view of the airline, cruise ship, transportation, and other industries that may be subject to agriculture, customs, or immigration user fees,” said CBP. Applications are due June 3.
