South Korea Cut-to-Length Plate: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate products from South Korea (A-580-836) (here). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for entries between February 2013 and January 2014.

New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect April 24

For entries on or after April 24, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates for two exporters. Subject merchandise from exporters that didn't get a rate in this review will continue to enter at cash deposit rates currently in effect. Exporters that have never been assigned an AD rate are subject to the all others rate of 0.98%. The new rates are as follows:

Assessment Rates For Entries February 2013 - January 2014

Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries between Feb. 1, 2013 and Jan. 31, 2014. Commerce will calculate a specific AD duty rate for each importer of subject merchandise from Dongkuk. Importers of subject merchandise from Bookuk and SM Solution will be assessed AD duties at 0.56%.
