Turkey Rectangular Pipe: Prelim Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department issued the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from Turkey (A-489-815) (here). The agency preliminarily calculated an AD rate of 1.02% for ÇINAR Boru Profil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.

Changes to cash deposit requirements would take effect on the date of publication of the final results in the Federal Register. For now, the most recent final AD rate calculated for each exporter is still applicable. If no final AD duty rate has ever been calculated for a company, then it is subject to the all others rate of 27.04%. The final results of this administrative review are currently due in August.

(The period of review is 05/01/13 -- 04/30/14. See notice for additional information, including the scope of the order, potential cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc.)
