Italy Brass Sheet and Strip: Prelim Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department issued the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on brass sheet and strip from Italy (A-475-601) (here). The agency preliminarily assigned an AD rate of 22% for KME Italy SpA. If Commerce makes no changes in its final results, it will assess AD duties on importers of uranium from AREVA at 22% for subject merchandise entered March 2013 through February 2014.

Changes to cash deposit requirements would take effect on the date of publication of the final results in the Federal Register. For now, the most recent final AD rate calculated for each exporter is still applicable. If no final AD duty rate has ever been calculated for a company, then it is subject to the all others rate of 5.44%. The final results of this administrative review are currently due in August.
