CBP Seattle to Stop Processing Air Cargo Release for SeaTac

The CBP Seattle area port entry branch will stop processing cargo release for the Seattle Tacoma Air Cargo Office (Port Code 3029), it said March 31 in a trade information notice. Effective April 16, entry paperwork that must be submitted to CBP should go directly to the Seattle-Tacoma Air Cargo Office, the agency said. The change is meant to "better align resources and prepare for the transition of work and staffing to the Centers of Excellence and Expertise," it said.
