South Korea Power Transformers: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on large power transformers from South Korea (A-580-867) (here). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for entries between February 2012 and July 2013.

New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect March 31

For entries on or after March 31, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates for five exporters. Subject merchandise from exporters that didn't get a rate in this review will continue to enter at cash deposit rates currently in effect. Exporters that have never been assigned an AD rate are subject to the all others rate of 29.93%. The new rates are as follows:

Assessment Rates For Entries February 2012 - July 2013

Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries between Feb. 16, 2012 and July 31, 2013. Commerce will calculate a specific AD duty rate for each importer of subject merchandise from Hyosung and Hyundai.
